Association Rules for Courteous Hunting

1.  Road Restrictions - Hunting season only

All vehicle except in emergency situations must restrict use to between 10:00am and 3:00pm to prevent game disturbance

2.   Rifle Sighting / Sport Shooting - hunting season only !!

Please perform all scope adjustments before hunting seasons. If unavoidable please restrict adjustments to between 10am and 3pm. Positively NO shooting except in the taking of game between the hours of 3pm and 10am the next morning.

3.   Noise Issues

Please make every effort to minimize noise levels during hunting season including while entering and exiting hunting blinds

4.   State Hunting Regulations

All hunters are required by law to follow the State of Texas hunting rules and regulations.

Any buck with at least one unbranched antler (e.g., spike) is NOT legal to harvest, unless the outside spread of the main beams is at least 20 inches in width.

If MLDP antlerless tags have been issued for a property, harvest is by MLDP tag only and all antlerless deer must be tagged with a MLDP antlerless tag. The landowner or designated agent are responsible for providing MLDP tags to the hunters on MLDP properties. All hunters using MLDP tags are required to possess a Resident or Non-resident General hunting license.
